Next season's "Petite Show" is tentatively scheduled for November 2024. Entry fees are $5, and artists may submit up to 4 artworks. Entries for this show must be no more than 50 square inches, for example, no larger than 5x10 inches. All work must be securely framed or gallery wrapped, wired, and ready to hang. Work should not have framing or matting larger than 3 inches. All work must be original, and completed in the last two years. Ribbons will be awarded for Best in Show (1), Outstanding Merit (2), Honorable Mention (4), and People's Choice.
The 2025 Annual Juried Show is tentatively scheduled for February 2025. Entry fees are $10 per entry in the following categories: oil, acrylic, watercolor, drawing, pastel, and mixed media. Artists may submit up to 2 works in each category. All works must have been competed in the last 2 years, and must not have been previously entered into a GCAG judged show. All work must be original (conceived by the artist's own references; copies of another artist's or photographers work including published sources, magazines, newspapers, copyright-free photo references--even if given permission to the artist, are not allowed. All entries must be securely framed or gallery wrapped, wired, and ready to hang. No entries to exceed 36 inches in either direction (including matting/framing), and must be clean, neat, free of dings, scratches, tears, or holes. Ribbons will be awarded for Best in Show (1), Best in Media (6), Honorable Mention (6), and People's Choice (1).

February 2024: The Goose Creek Artists Guild Annual Judged Show & Exhibition was held February 1-29 at the City of Goose Creek Activity Center. Award-winning artist served as this year's judge. The reception was held on Tuesday, February 20 at 7pm. Best of Show was awarded to Sue Selvey for her watercolor painting, ".Cant Get There from Here" Awards for Best of Media were given in each of the following categories: Acrylic (Katherine Vandergriff), Oil (Sue Selvey), Drawing (Duncan Rabey), Pastel (Dorothy Schromoff), Watercolor (Sue Selvey), & Mixed Media (Willis Sanders). People's Choice was awarded to Lori Moen. Additional ribbons for Honorable Mention were awarded to Sue Selvey (3), Suzanne Glenn, Sally Fleming, & Heather Hill. The 2024 Mayor's Purchase Award went to Sue Selvey for her pastel painting, "A Massive Cover Up."
The 2023-24 Petite show was held at the Goose Creek Activity Center, November 1-30, 2023. Willis Sanders won best in show for his mixed media piece, "Ebony." Outstanding Merit was awarded to Vickie Hickman and Dorothy Schromoff. Additional Ribbons for Honorable Mention were awarded to Willis Sanders, Karol Skelley, Sue Selvey & Heather Hill. The People's Choice ribbon was awarded to Lori Moen. This year's judge was Damion Johnson, artist & educator from Orangeburg, SC.
2023: The Goose Creek Artists Guild Annual Judged Show & Exhibition was held February 2-28 at the City of Goose Creek Activity Center. Award-winning artist Stephanie Shuler Hamlet served as this year's judge. The reception was held on Tuesday, February 21 at 7pm. Best of Show was awarded to Heather Hill for her pastel portrait "Lucy." Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place were given in each of the following categories: Acrylic, Oil, Drawing, Pastel, Watercolor, & Mixed Media.
First place ribbons were earned by Laura Cody, Kay Bilisoly, Heather Hill, Al Champy, and Gary Smith. Other award winners included Dorothy Shromoff, Sue Selvey, Larry Alexis, Karol-Ann Skelly, Willis Sanders and Christopher Kyle,
The 2023 Petite show was held at the Goose Creek Activity Center, March 1-31. Sue Selvey won Best of Show for her Pink Convertible painting, and was also awarded ribbons for 1st and 3rd place. Laura Cody was awarded ribbons for 2nd place and Honorable Mention. Heather Hill was also awarded a ribbon for Honorable Mention.

Artist Robert Maniscalco (www.maniscalcogallery.com) served as this year's judge. The reception was held on Tuesday, March 15, 7pm. Best of Show was awarded to Alicia Daily, for her acrylic painting "View of My Field." Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place were given in each of the following categories: Acrylic, Oil, Drawing, Pastel, Watercolor, & Mixed Media.
First place ribbons were earned by Alicia Daily, Sharon Mills, Dorothy Shromoff, Sue Selvey, and Christine Johnson. Other award winners included Larry Alexis, Belle Anderson, Heather Hill, Willis Sanders, Gary Smith, and Al Champy.
The Goose Creek Artists Guild annual Petite show was held March 2-30, 2022 at the Goose Creek Branch of the Berkeley County Library on Old Moncks Corner Road in Goose Creek. Works submitted were not to exceed 8x10 inches (including frame) and all entries were securely framed or gallery wrapped, with some displayed on a mini easel or stand.
